We are excited to announce that our Dance conditioning Pilates program is on full swing. With such high demands on bodies of these young athletes, Pilates offers a great tool for them, on injury prevention.




Common Weaknesses of the Young Dancer

  • Weak abdominal muscles
  • Lumbar hyperlordosis – hyperextending the lumbar spine into an anterior pelvic tilt
  • Incorrect use of “turnout”
  • Weak ankles- rolling the medial arches into pronation
